The Last Word of Zen : Turning for Home
November 2, 2024

KEHNEY S.

“I found this to be a very introspective and meaningful experience. The art stirred up a contemplation about how on life's journey there are repeating lessons and cycles, but nothing goes exactly as expected. His work has so much organic and spiritual energy which I find fascinating. Highly recommended.”

DILLER D.

“I enjoyed the ceremonial opening. Thank you for putting it on and inviting me. The art for me feels alive; my attention is drawn to and captivated by its sense of movement and flow. I like the combination and contrast of structure with variation.”

CRAGIN C.

“It was a wonderful experience to gather in a small group and meditate for a bit before exploring the art. The paintings are beautiful and delightfully play with the mind. Every aspect of the work from creation to display is very interesting. I love the art. I look forward to seeing it again. Thank you.”

PORTER A.

“The artwork encourages relationship, interaction and participation with it. The experience is like an opening and closing at the same time, a moment of time and yet no moment at all; perfectly Zen.”

FUKUIZUMI A.

"To be in and of art. The evening felt, as the name suggested, like turning for home. Going to a familiar place with a familiar breath, getting lost along the way but always knowing how to get back. Wandering and meditating through the art; watching people become art themselves. In frame sometimes, in motion others. I've never found more questions and answers in one place. It was an intimate setting with mostly strangers who also felt like old friends. A unique, hopeful, connective experience."
